I've got a RaQ4r which has been in service for 2 years now....
All sites on it will be migrated to a RaQ550 as soon as Cobalt will release its new CMU. (Cobalt: SHAME ON YOU for the release date of the CMU for the RaQ550)
After that, the RaQ4r will be out of service for a month and then be filled with new sites.
It contains now 2 seagate 30GB harddisks, but were in use since 1999.
Is it smart to replace the HD's by new ones, or useless?
It's just that at this moment I can do it without loss of data/downtime...
and second: If one drive of the RAID1 fails, I can't buy another seagate 30GB drive since they aren't sold anymore :(....
What do you guys think?
