View Full Version : Reccomend a reseller..
LazyDCreations 04-09-2007, 01:56 AM I would appreciate it if you fine people could help me find a new host. I am currently with a host who is a one man show, and not a reliable man either. The hosting is constantly up and down, it seems like Apache restarts every once in a while and its killing me... Here are my requirements...
Disk Space - Around 5GB
Transfer - Around 70GB
Unlimited MySQL DBs
Unlimited POP3 Accounts
Budget - Around $10-14 a month
CyberHostPro 04-09-2007, 03:55 AM Hi
Welcome to WHT Forums :) $10-$14 is quite low, selling reseller hosting this price is rather cheap and some hosts may have to oversell to make any profit, causing issues like apache to be up and down.
However, I recommend visiting the Reseller Hosting offers forum on http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=130
Thanks and good luck.
dhcart 04-09-2007, 03:43 PM Go away from too cheap reseller hostings if you want to get a good service. If you can increase your budget to $20/month when I recommend Hostdime.

Changing host may not change your problems.

Martie 04-09-2007, 07:08 PM Just remember whether you are checking the review sites or the offers forum here, you still have to do your own personal research on any co.
Ya dont want to "jump from the frying pan into the fire" so to speak. :D
ZoomCities 04-09-2007, 07:33 PM Raise your budget to around $20 and you will find great reseller hosting out there, that will solve your problems too..

That is a PPC list, it have not value at all, the #1 is the one who pay more per click.

Exactly, Jedito!
WireNine 04-10-2007, 06:07 PM For $10 per month, you will not find reliable reseller hosting. Do a search on hostsearch.com to see what comes up, make a list of 4-5 companies then do a search for reviews on them here on WHT.
bitesites 04-10-2007, 06:10 PM I personally feel that a good host may be located in that price range through a special or with lower spec range.
Although as many suggest "Research" as this may allow you to locate such a host without the issues in which you unfortunatly encountered with your previous.
Ireland 04-11-2007, 08:47 AM Budget - Around $10-14 a month
Doing a search on WHT will give you a good overview of what is out there and what are the good and bad options.
I would consider that price may be a factor over service if you are limited. That is you may find that your price may be higher in order to consider a Reseller that has a better service policy.
I use KUALO, they are not the cheapest but for the past 4 years plus their service has been outstanding. The longest problem was resolved within 24 hours over a holiday weekend and that intailed a complete server change including IPs. They kept me informed and connected throughout.
After reading some of the reviews on cheaper Resellers I wonder if the service quality would be as good at a cheaper price...?
