I can get clientexec for $5 monthly. dhcart 04-09-2007, 03:26 PM You must decide it by yourself. Try the demos and look at the features of all billing softwares. So you can choose one as your needs. siforek 04-09-2007, 03:31 PM This should be in the other forum, but... I agree with dhcart. I tried clientexec, Modernbill, and finally ended up with WHMCS. I love WHMCS, others perfer MB. There's no "best", atleast not yet. BTW, Modernbill is slow. Veerex 04-09-2007, 04:31 PM In my opinion: Best billing + Auto-account creation: WHM Autopilot Support: Kayako SupportSuite ScottJ 04-09-2007, 05:11 PM In my opinion: Best billing + Auto-account creation: WHM Autopilot Support: Kayako SupportSuite Agree 100% XeHSean 04-09-2007, 05:18 PM I'd say if your looking for the best overall script, it's WHMCS. If you don't mind purchasing idevaffiliate and esupport as well, modernbill is a very nice solution :) mrzippy 04-09-2007, 06:18 PM We are using www.awbs.com and it's very good. The template system is difficult to work around... but once you figure it out, it's very powerful. It really depends on your requirements. Do you want to support multiple control panels? Multiple domain registrars? Built-in helpdesk? I recommend doing the trial for each billing system and you'll quickly see which one you like best and meets your needs. misdivision 04-11-2007, 01:48 AM All the software mentioned above is really nice. In my opinion, ModernBill is not for everyone, as WHMAutoPilot is not powerful enough for some. One of our clients selected WHMAutoPilot over all, and is extremely happy and comfortable in using that. Another client opted to go with Modernbill as this particular client saw the features as satisfying their future functionality requirements. I would agree with dhcart, the best choice will be to try-out the demos and go with the one that best fit your requirements and level of comfort. Good luck! Respectfully, Reseller Mike 04-11-2007, 02:54 AM Best Billing i would say WHMCS. but try the demos before buying for sure! We are using www.awbs.com (http://www.awbs.com/) for domain names. Jame$ 04-11-2007, 06:11 AM WHMAP for sure. I've tried WHMCS when it first came out, seemed limited and amateurish to me at the time. I reckon many people are pulled to it by its light blue look, which I personally don't think looks good at all. KNL-BSW 04-11-2007, 10:31 AM Your going to here an answer for every billing system on the market. And every single person who answers is going to say the solution they use is the best. But, as someone put it, what is best for them may not be best for you. When looking at a billing system though you have to consider "ALL" areas. We choose ModernBill because of the products it supports, features, ability to easily integrate with our accounting software, and more. But it may not be right for you. Until you try the demos then use a product you probably won't be sure. kiracm 04-11-2007, 07:58 PM I definitely vote for WHMCS. It has everything rolled into one (which I like) and has been expanding to include more options. It's very easy to use, easy to set up and if you need support Matt is VERY fast to respond. HypedHost 04-11-2007, 10:18 PM I have tried ClientEXEC, WHM Autopilot, Modernbill, and WHMCS. I used to think modernbill was cool but it was lacking what i wanted. WHM Autopilot is cool but doesn't have some of the features i wanted to have such as being able to change passwords or terminate accounts. ClientEXEC is cool and all but for some reason i didn't like it. I was stuck on the thought that WHM autopilot and modernbill were always the best for a while until i tried WHMCS. It is by far the best panel i have ever seen or used before and would recommend it for you. amaZe 04-11-2007, 10:20 PM I just started my company, and I am using clientexec. But after reading the features from the competing software, I intend on switching in the future. rentacast 04-13-2007, 12:21 PM If you are just selling basic hosting accounts i would reccomend clientexec it has multiple feature and very easy to use integranet 04-13-2007, 04:49 PM I prefer Modernbill myself. I've been using it for 3 years now and do account creation across mutiple WHM servers. I use their 4.3 version. Haven't made up my mind about their 5.x version, though. |
