Okay...I'm not exactly a newbie, and not a veteran either. Don't have many posts under my belt, but I came here a couple of months or so ago looking for a new host for my church's website.

I was hosting at HostSave and wanted to put up an IkonBoard..well, HostSave didn't offer any database support at all. So, my hunt began. Reading many, many, many posts on here, I finally found what I was looking for.

Just want to send a Kudos out to DigitalXWeb who is now hosting the site. I moved from HostSave to DigitalXWeb (http://www.digitalxweb.net) mainly due to Brian's attitude, willingness to help, and his attention to customer service issues.

When I was searching for a new host, I was looking for 2-3 main criteria. Uptime of server, cost, and customer service response. I've been with Brian's service for just over a month and I can say I'm extremely satisfied. So, at least check out his services...it doesn't cost you anything to look.

Brian goes by the nick "DigitalXWeb" on this forum.... I'm sure he'd be glad to answer any questions you have..

Oh, and before you start bashing, I'm not being paid to say this and not some fake userID, etc..etc... I know how people on this board think :D I've been reading it long enough now!

Anyway... go check out his site... he might be able to help.

Thanks!

Stefan,

I'm glad that you've found your host and not running around like the majority of people in here. Lucky for you.

Good luck!

DH,

I have to admit I was one of thos people running around for at least a couple of months before I moved to my current host. Having read too many posts about scams, lack of customer service, the old bait and switch tactics, I was afraid to "pull the trigger" and make a decision.

You'd think it would be a simple thing picking a host.... for me it was even tougher due to the fact that the site isn't my own personal site, but belongs to my church. I currently am the webmaster for their site strictly on a non-paid volunteer basis...and, I'm purely a hobbyist when it comes to webpage design/building.

Anyway..... I thought that with all the negative posts, someone might want to hear something positive about a host for a change. :)

Take care!

-Stefan

This isn't a response to your comment other than.....

"What is a kudos? what does it mean?"

Kudos is the equivalent of saying something like great job.
