What the lowest price I could look to get for an external cpanel license?

I think its about $45, thats the lowest I know of anyway

For external vps licenses you can find them at $13-15/mo. If you purchase enough of them, you could probably get them directly from cPanel at a better price.

I gathered this was for dedicated servers, but yet the price selectedbyte has provided for external VPS is also the lowest I have seen

My datacenter doesn't provide internal cpanel pricing, so I'm looking around for external.

Get in touch with Dave at touchsupport. I believe last they were offering cPanel & Fantastico external for $43/mo. That's probably the best price you're going to find.

PSM (http://platinumservermanagement.com/) has/had a deal for $39/mo. This is the best deal you'll find. I would contact them and ask to see if they still offer external cpanel licenses. I see their order form for it is still live so maybe they do.

Unlike dedicated server licenses, cPanel does not directly sell VPS licenses.

If you want VPS licenses directly through cPanel, you will need to become a Partner NOC which requires a license minimum. As of writing, that license minimum is 75 VPS licenses (or 25 Dedicated Server licenses or an approved combination thereof) but it does change, just send an e-mail to billing@cpanel.net if you're ever interested.

Pay upfront for 3 years and the price will be 29$/month. I recommend to buy it at least for 1year ... its much cheaper.

The best location to find a external CPanel distributor in through the CPanel distributor page located at http://www.cpanel.net . Many of us advertise on Google as well - might be worth a look there as well

I've used fastservers and BuycPanel before. I can say from experience that fastservers is way more on-the-ball than BuycPanel. I canceled a license with BuycPanel 20 days in advanced and their still invoicing me for it.

Why would a customer purchase 100 cPanel licenses from your company where they can buy 75 from cPanel directly and get them at $7/mo ? I dont see the advantage there?!?:eek:

Most of the time it's because our external prices are lower for full licenses, and they'd rather have all of their licenses managed in one location. Per our distributorship agreement we can't disclose the prices we obtain licenses at.

We also offer 24/7 license assistance and support, which is different from any other distributor or CPanel direct. Probably another reason why.

To clarify, cPanel's Direct Technical Support is 24/7 whereas non-technical license assistance comes from the cPanel Billing Department which is open 7am - 3pm Eastern US Time Monday-Friday.

I see, I just know that 7 or 8 is the starting price for a cpanel NOC partner but that does make sense. Cpanel does only do billing 9-5 I believe but ive got ahold of them at some rather strange hours though support is 24/7
