I am looking to resell brand name SSL certificates through my own billing software (ClientExec) just for the sake of having them. For people who already do this, what is the best way to get it done?

I am currently doing this with client exec and just add it as an addon feature and when someone buys one I just go register it and contact them that it has been setup and give them the place to login with their login details. I make a $5 profit a year off it so I am not really in it for the money. However I had this same question, so I am curious how others are doing it.

Same here, I wouldn't be doing it for profit either. It's all for customers and being able to offer 'turn-key' solutions.

Yea, I just wish there was an easier way to sell SSL with client exec.

We're reselling for rapidssl.com using the AWBS billing software. It works pretty well. We do it mostly as a "service" to our existing customers, rather then actually trying to make a lot of money from the sales. Our markup is about $15 per certificate. It's totally automatic with AWBS, and works well.
