yep. Currently version 3.1.2 of modernbill supports these processors with the push of a button:

"authorize" (Authorize.net)
"planetpayment" (PlanetPayment.com)
"ecx" (QuickCommerce.net)
"epn" (eProcessingNetwork.com)
"rtware" (RTWare.net)
"mcps" (MerchantCommerce.net)

mbennett:

In the next week or so, we will be offering merchant accounts for web hosting companies. The merchant accounts will be of an Authorize.net flavor.

Please keep an eye on ModernBill.com for details.

Thanks for your support,
JC-ModernBill

(*pardon if these are stupid questions)

At what point would it make sense for a reseller to invest in a system like this? Not at all, right from the beginning or once you have, let's say 100 users?

(I noticed it does not support Revecom or 2checkout?)

This system basicially helps you manage your accounts and billing correct? Do most resellers go without it?

Thanks

If I had my time again, and if Modernbill was around when we started, I would have possibly tried to get it running from the start. While paysystems (revecom) is a good way to get started, it doesn't allow the merchant access to the full details of your customers. This means moving customers to a different system proves a little difficult and time consuming.

However, the costs are mych less than a full merchant account with it's gateway fees, set up costs etc, so starting from scratch that way does mean it'll take longer before you show real profit.

Double edged sword I suppose

Greg,

Thanks for your support...

We have some new and exciting things in the very near future.

For those looking for a Merchant Account, we are now offically an Authorize.net reseller. Although, our signup form does not reflect the option to purchase the Merchant Account yet.... Contact us via email and we can get you in contact with our representative over the phone.

How would resellers outside of the US be able to set this up? Thanks :)

you don't. Authorize.net is US only. Planet Payment is the only Authorize.net based merchant account that's available to 'overseas' merchants.
