I own a server colocated at Volumedrive's Cage at Burstnet.
THe URL to the Hosting Company that the server is colocated at is www.volumedrive.com (http://www.volumedrive.com)
I no longer need the server , Josh from volumedrive said he will install whatever os you want, his colocation fees are really low. Or you can have the system shipped elsewhere.
So what do you get. Ownership of a
Dell 170L Pentium 4 2.8
1GB DDR 333 (PC 2700) Ram
2 = 181 Gig Scsi Drives installed with scsi controller.
The Drives are Seagate Model ST1181677LW
The drives originally retailed for 1500 to 2000 each depending on where you bought them, I just checked with street prices andf they have them from 395.00 each to 816. each, I got these used and I ran them for a couple years in a server i had , they are in excellant shape with no errors or defects.
StreetPrices (http://www.streetprices.com/cd/25/SP394283.html)
I don't know if they have any warranty left.
Here is a pdf with their specs,, They are average rotational latency 4.17 MS
Average MTBF 1,200,000 Hours
Seagate PDF with Specs (http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/manuals/scsi/100109939c.pdf)
I hope it is Ok to post in this category, If not please move to right category.
I will be excepting offers for the 24 hours.
Thanks
