I am not on any photoshop help forums, I dont know where any are and this is the only community I know with people that might no the answer.

I need to make some nice curves and found the pen tool does this, except I did not find a way to select anything or anything along those lines to acctually make the curve. Is it just for a guid or is there something I have to press.

In the pen tool dropdown on the menu, select the convert tool. Select the line you drew with your pen tool, right click, and 'make selection'. You can then delete the pen tool guide and use the selection like normal.
