WEll, the site loaded fine. the link that wasn't working for me was the enquiring minds link to some thread. I kept getting Page Not Found late last night....

What I don't understand is why you launched it before it was finished... i.e. the buttons at the top done and text etc. If I was a potential client I have to say at the moment I think it would confuse me and perhaps scare me away....

I mean, don't get me wrong its a nice idea, I would just have ensured that it was 100% finished before pushing it out in public. I think its maybe just a little too radical, but then maybe thats a good thing. Who knows these days.

Anyway, good luck with it Aussie Bob, I know you'll make it a success :)

Actually I would say that your post shows you didn't read it. In Aussie Bob's announcement he states:

Over the next coming weeks, the top section of the forum will be modified to include plan buttons and text etc.

Suggesting that it is not "finished" as there are no buttons at the top and text at the top. I have to say with this added it will be a great idea, but I think perhaps this should have been done first as going to httpme.com and seeing just a forum seems kinda weird at the minute... I'm not bashing, just offering an honest personal opinion.

I read enough to know that the service works, has enough information to make a decision etc, I DID read what you quoted btw.

Evolution is a gradual process. 1 step at a time. We have a good client base and aren't too worried about aggressive customer acquisition now anyways, so hence the no real mad rush in getting to that part of the site. Orders are still coming in as per normal. :)

Nothing is ever 100% finished. It's a continual process of evolution/growth/development etc. We're just in that process right now.

Right. Your company is getting more and more successful. Someone will soon copy. Look at Marc's site at MCHost. Not the most revolutionary site, yet the company is very successful, and the poor guys site gets copied what seems to be daily.

Tis an interesting idea. I may have to play around with that idea, but knowing me, if I do, I'll re-invent the wheel and make something from the ground up :D Although I'm contemplating creating a bunch of Modules for PostNuke to turn it in to a full fleged support system with fourms, helpdesk, ect. :)
