As of recently I'm starting to get annoyed by the moderation of WHT in terms of reported posts and such.

I've recently had my signature removed from a post when it was the 2nd reply. Fine I replied to some post relating to hosting but what really annoys me is the fact posts above it were not modified in anyway until I complained about the fact. Based on what I understand now there probably should not even be signatures in pretty much any post. Yet it seems to be a select few posts that ever get touched so why exactly even bother removing some? Or better yet just make signatures not possible at all then because I don't think it's really fair that 1% of all posts ever have it removed anyways. When you factor in 90% of posts are replies by hosts then no signatures at all makes sense.

Next if you ever have a post removed and you disagree. Well the person who removed it can reply to your ticket about it which makes no sense. Who knows these people may have an agenda and tend to remove posts for friends or products they like.

Also if you did not know any host mentioning another as a recommendation technically should be removed (I tried this and the posts were removed). You need direct experience with a product or service to make a recommendation or comment on policies. Yet I see people doing it left and right and even moderators doing it so take it for what it's worth. Also on this rule hosts talking about how overselling is bad for x host and commenting on bad reviews should probably not be posting their thoughts about anything in those topics either.

Anyways post your thoughts on moderation and the rules and such.

If you have a problem with a moderator, submit a ticket to the "Contact Administration" department and only the Community Leaders can view that.

Absolutely not.

If you see rules violated, open a ticket by reporting it.
If you think you've been mistreated or badly moderated, open a ticket.
If the mod that warned you answers and you want to hear from someone else, say so in the ticket.

Anyways post your thoughts on moderation and the rules and such.

From the rules:
Public posts debating these rules and/or moderators' enforcement of such, will be removed without comment. We encourage feedback however and invite you to use our help desk if you have any questions or concerns.
