I'm reletively new to the reseller side, so please bear with me. I've been struggling to understand exactly why alot of hosting companys have something like "50MB and 5GB of Transfer" deals. This makes absolutly no sence. No 50MB site could generate 5GB, unless it was already a well established site. Even if it was a well established site, why would they only need 50MB? So I put it to you. Is it pretty much just a ploy to make the customer "think" they were getting more for less or what?

We have has sites that are just 25MB in size generating well over 15GB transfer a month... so yes it is definately possible. However most of the time yes, they are just ploys to make people think they are getting more.
