Hello,

I'm planning to setup my first Windows2000 server with Cold Fusion 5. I will just use this Windows2000 server to host only one website. Not sure how many CAL do I need to setup this server. Perhaps, you could tell me.

Now, get back to the point.

Does anyone have Windows2000 server's license (CAL) and/or Cold Fusion 5 'laying/' around that you want to sell for cheap cheap. Just post how much you want for it.

Hello,
I don't think it is worth it for 1 website.
But ebay has win 2000 server licenses for ~$800 I think.
I haven't checked lately.
Coldfusion 5 server is another $1000 I believe.

Would Windows2000 Professional work if you use it as a server, not pretty sure about Windows server?

I might have to use Cold Fusion on Linux, but I will just have to convert ms access database into MySQL. Let me see the limitations to decide on that one.

I checked eBay and win 2000 server 5 CAL costs about $700. I don't know if win2k pro would work..

Hello,

Right now, I am taking a look at Linux, since Windows2000 Server is too expensive to host one website. I'll see if I am able to convert to Linux runinng Cold Fusion and Ms Access to MySQL.

Thanks for checking it out for me.
