Does anyone have a recommendation? kunal 02-15-2001, 01:57 PM Try hotscripts.com and cgi-resources.com. Analog and Webalizer are the most populare ones. I dun remember there URLS, but you should find them at the above resources. fweikeong 02-15-2001, 02:06 PM Hey kunal, long time no see (I haven't been seeing you on ICQ, did you change or what ?) Just to put up the URL to Analog http://www.analog.cx and a little comment: I have tried it too, seem to be a prog for techie, does not offer good graphics like others but info is sufficient, and it does offer a list of config options for different reporting format. ;) jayglate 02-15-2001, 02:16 PM Try webalizer it is free, fast, and kinda pretty. http://www.webalizer.net Matrix 02-15-2001, 02:52 PM anyone familiar with this one? http://www.urchin.com/ MattF 02-15-2001, 03:00 PM Web Hosting Magazine by a side-by-side battle between WebTrends and Urchin. Urchin won! Looks very smart. Matrix 02-15-2001, 03:03 PM Thanks for the response Also I believe urchin is a lot cheaper MSW 02-15-2001, 03:35 PM Here's one: http://www.otterware.de/fileseng.html It's free..check it out. jayglate 02-15-2001, 03:38 PM We use urchin, it is by far the best product we ever used for stats, but it is very expensive in large scale operations, thousands upon thousands of dollars. The closest free product I have seen that comes close in speed and reporting is webalizer.net DHWWnet 02-15-2001, 03:41 PM I agree, Webalizer is i think the best free stats program out there. If anybody knows of a good free stats program besides Analog and Webalizer please post the url :) another url for webalizer http://www.mrunix.net elijaH Matrix 02-15-2001, 03:57 PM What about this stats program? http://www.boutell.com/ jayglate 02-15-2001, 03:59 PM Wusage you mean? It is a resource hog, and is very very slow. allan 02-15-2001, 04:30 PM I have to throw in my agreement for webalizer. Aside from webalizer and analog I am not familiar with any other reliable free stats programs. Seven 02-15-2001, 06:46 PM I went to the sites kunal listed and checked out several free programs. My favorite is WebLog (http://awsd.com/scripts/weblog/index.shtml) . I prefer it to Webalizer because it lists keywords by search engine. It lists the most popular phrases for referrals from Google, from Altavista, etc. [Edited by Seven on 02-15-2001 at 05:49 PM] |
