I am looking for an inexpensive cgi-based statistics program. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Try hotscripts.com and cgi-resources.com.

Analog and Webalizer are the most populare ones. I dun remember there URLS, but you should find them at the above resources.

I have tried it too, seem to be a prog for techie, does not offer good graphics like others but info is sufficient, and it does offer a list of config options for different reporting format.

It's free..check it out.

We use urchin, it is by far the best product we ever used for stats, but it is very expensive in large scale operations, thousands upon thousands of dollars.

The closest free product I have seen that comes close in speed and reporting is webalizer.net

I agree, Webalizer is i think the best free stats program out there.

If anybody knows of a good free stats program besides Analog and Webalizer please post the url :)

Wusage you mean? It is a resource hog, and is very very slow.

I have to throw in my agreement for webalizer. Aside from webalizer and analog I am not familiar with any other reliable free stats programs.

I went to the sites kunal listed and checked out several free programs.

My favorite is WebLog (http://awsd.com/scripts/weblog/index.shtml) .
I prefer it to Webalizer because it lists keywords by search engine. It lists the most popular phrases for referrals from Google, from Altavista, etc.
