http://www.websitepulse.net/options.php3

Not sure how good the free one is, we based our monitoring on the platinum plan with a few of the extra options, and it's been great so far.

This looks like a pretty nice tool. I'll give it a try later tonight. Thanks.

Netsaint has been replaced by Nagios (www.nagios.org).

Does anyone know of a monitoring service that sends you a SMS
when any of your servers are down?

http://alertra.com :)

Just hooked it up to 3 servers. You can monitor an actual successful page loading, so much better than pinging the box all day when apache or bind is down etc...

Do a search for "IP check" and "paessler" on google. Great product! You can check several services (smtp, pop, http, ping, etc) and have different notification features (email, net send, phone, etc)!
