RRolfe 07-06-2002, 05:05 PM well there is big brother http://bb4.com and then if you want stats on a machine at any time try phpSysInfo (ram, hdd, cpu).. i am sure you can find it by running a search on google. apollo 07-07-2002, 03:28 AM check out www.netsaint.org (open source I believe) mlovick 07-07-2002, 06:11 PM Try servers alive : http://www.woodstone.nu/salive Brewer 07-07-2002, 06:27 PM Originally posted by mlovick Try servers alive : http://www.woodstone.nu/salive This looks like a pretty nice tool. Frank DavidC 07-07-2002, 07:18 PM Does anyone know of a monitoring service that sends you a SMS when any of your servers are down? Aussie Bob 07-07-2002, 07:35 PM Originally posted by DavidC Does anyone know of a monitoring service that sends you a SMS when any of your servers are down? http://alertra.com :) Just hooked it up to 3 servers. You can monitor an actual successful page loading, so much better than pinging the box all day when apache or bind is down etc... WHRKit 07-07-2002, 08:21 PM Do a search for "IP check" and "paessler" on google. Great product! You can check several services (smtp, pop, http, ping, etc) and have different notification features (email, net send, phone, etc)! |
