This is my second post here, previously i asked about web hosting company recommendation - webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=541763 - and decided to use hostgator at that time

From my previous post :

Quote = David (i cant use vbcode and live link because my post count is low)

Come back in a couple of months and give us a review of them!

Well i think i already passed a couple of months so here's my own personal review or you can also say my own opinion about them (im using their shared hosting) and sorry for my bad english :

Plus :

- Very Good uptime (at least it's in 99.5% ++ uptime area)
- Respond from the support team is fast (so far the only thing i've asked to the support team is adding cname / editing zone and they finished it within 10 minutes, but i dont know much about other issue)
- Website loaded really fast although im not from USA
- Get ssh access (to get ssh access it takes a little bit longer than the usual reply from them but in the end i can get ssh access)

Minus (from my point of view) :

- They dont have ETA on when they're going to give the new storage and bandwidth upgrade to their old customers. (im still using the old storage and bandwidth capacity)
- i dont really like their new 404 error page, but this is not really a problem for me at least

That's all .. if i miss something i'll be sure to edit this post later .. as a side note, im still with them when i posted this

Looks to me like you plan to stick to HG for some time. :)

The website in your profile is hosted by Hostgator, so the review can only be validated.

ahahaha to be honest yes .. i plan to stick with HG unless i really need to move into another hosting company because HG doesn't offer VPS but i think it's still a long way for me =)

i've used hostgator in the past - my site was small back then so i didn't have much trouble - their customer service was pretty good
