I just registered a domain at godaddy. My order has been processed and I was charged (use the paypal account registered at GoDaddy). According to my previous (very good) experience with GoDaddy, I should receive at least two emails from them. But this time I only received one order confirmation email, and I'm waiting two hours now. To my surprise the domain is still available for registration. What if other guy registers my domain now? Of cause I've already emailed Godaddy support team. Just want to know if anyone has this experience before and what will happen to me?

Happens in 3 cases
* Their system is slow/lagging behind
* They are waiting on a certain NIC to authorize the domain (e.g. in .co.uk / .de)
* There was some required information missing in your application (mostly in (e.g. in ccTLDs)
You only wait for them to reply with success or error.
Yes you are right somebody can put in a registration request meanwhile.

This is a dot com domain. They said that they could not locate my order based on the order ID I provided and asked for header information of the order email. And then they sent me an "Additional Review Required" email. Still waiting...

That would be a software bug then.
Frankly that's one of most complex cart interface I have seen in a while.
They got so many options if you only happen to go a buy a domain.
Hope they find your order.
