I just finished my website, which i coded in XHTML/CSS. I tested it in the following, and it displayed correctly :
Firefox 2.0.0.2
Internet Explorer 6
Netscape 8.1.2
Opera 9.10
Are there any others i left out? Should i also test my site in older versions of these? Thanks.

K-Meleon
Safari
Konqueror
Camino
Perhaps create an alternative for mobile browsing?
Yes, it's a good idea to test in semi-old versions of the browsers but only if the updated versions haven't been out for a very long time. This is just my opinion though.

Lynx
Blazer and/or Opera Handheld
IE or Fx with JAWS (http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/software_jaws.asp)
IE7 ;)
Then, open up Opera and test user environments, your site with images removed, those sorts of things.

yeah rather strange you didn't test it in the most popular current browser version

And don't forget to use online validator at http://validator.w3.org ;)

One quick note about IE. In the last month I've noticed a huge shift in my traffic from IE6 to IE7. Most of my users have migrated to IE 7 / XP now. Considering the differences between 6 and 7 then it's probably worth testing both.

Hmm... Tough job for web designers nowadays so many browsers each with different settings

K-Meleon
Safari
Konqueror
Camino
K-Meleon and Camino use Gecko, so it would be redundant to check those. Safari and Konqueror also use the same engine, so pick one or the other.

Hmmm.. I would try both Linux and Windows browsers...
Linux:
Konqueror and Firefox (they both use Gecko but they display web pages differently)
Windows:
IE 6 and 7
Firefox 1 and 2
Opera
