Typical. After posting this i catched the company by phone. He told me it would be up and running in a couple of hours, so i hope it will.

Ok...This company is not one to trust, even though you talk to them. 8 hours ago he told me(by phone) it would be running in a couple of hours, and still nothing is running. Not even an email explaining some good reason! Grrrrr.....

If you think that's bad, just wait until you need a server rebooted.

I had a test box with them, and it took on average over 20 hours per reboot... and in one case, it was almost 2 days!

Thats sick!

The reason i choose this guy was because my friend has the exact same product, and for some reason it was set up in a couple of hours.

He ordered another VPS a couple of minuttes after i placed my order and is now having the same problems as me.

BTW:

The customer service number given to you by paypal is not his phonenumber!

Got him on the phone again, dont think its the actual company that i talked to. My guess is that he has some callcenter handling his calls. Why i think this is because the guy i talked to seemed to have a hard time understanding what i said, and that kinda weird considering this is a U.S based company!

Well...I was this time promised that it would be set up right away :D So lets see again.

Couldent help myself, so i gave him one more call.
The message was now changed from "We will set it up right away" to "We will set it up in a couple of hours"

As a person who used to work at Dynu, I can agree with all your complaints. It took them ~48 hours to answer their own employee, and even longer sometimes.

I stay away from there now.

Guess what...No server! This is getting weird :D

Dougy im glad you are out of there. Beeing an employee must have been even worse than beeing a customer. I wonder how late the paychecks were :D (not a question)

I volunteered. (I had to even pay for my own hosting.)

I have now canceled my order. My guess is that i wont get a refund or that i might arrive at the end of December 2008 :D

To the moderators of this forum:

Can you please restore my threads original title now.
"Is Dynu.com a fraud company"

They are not a fraud company, their service is just poor and their support is worse.

Ok thought case was closed.

Logged on to the server ready to run something from it. The server crashed a couple of times and i found that very weird programs was running on it.

Look at the attachments.

After talking to dyno about this a couple of times they told me that all was fixed and i was ready to run. It was not.

After numerous conversations i decided again to claim a refund. They tried talking me into giving them time to setup another server and i declined. This resultet in them getting mad at me and haning up. After that no answering the phone.

Thought crazy, sick was correct words to use but know i think this forum would ban me if i even tried using the words im thinking.

Did you pay using a credit card or PayPal?

Those morons are still trying to bill me, as of a few hours ago... too bad I used PayPal. :P
