The LOM is a standalone function in the server chassis that allows you to manage and monitor the server even if the OS is not booted. This includes a text interface (ssh) as well as Java web interface. Through the LOM interface you can access the console of the server, check server stats, and reboot the system.

The server also includes our full standard suite of managed services. Here is a summary of what is included with our managed services:


Server Health Monitoring: we constantly monitor disk, CPU, memory, and other system resources
Availability Monitoring: our monitoring system alerts is if there is a problem with the server or a service on it, so that we can respond to the problem instead of waiting for you to report it.
Security: we will install and configure a software firewall to meet your needs
Software patches and updates: we will keep your system up to date
Obsolescence protection: no one wants to pay today's prices for yesterday's technology. Every 24 months, customers have the option of moving to a brand-new server at the same price range of their current server.
