View Full Version : Please STOP Posting!
SoftWareRevue 07-05-2002, 10:36 PM Once upon a time, I was able to read every post in every thread.
However hard I try; I just can't seem to do it any more.
By the time I finish reading one post, there are twelve more that have been written. :(
So, please, I beg of you; Stop it!
[Edited]
Because I was so upset in writing, that I had forgotten how to spell. :(
Hiccups 07-05-2002, 10:38 PM Are you sure you don't want to read any more posts?
SoftWareRevue 07-05-2002, 10:43 PM Therein lies the problem.
I want to read every post.
But, there are just too many of them. :bawling:
Like when I go for icecream and I can't have every flavor, because there are just too many.
Hiccups 07-05-2002, 10:44 PM So many posts, so little time...
utadmin 07-05-2002, 10:52 PM I think people have to too much time on there hands here ...
i know i know ... thats abit rich coming from me
RRolfe 07-05-2002, 11:16 PM you really can't expect all of us to stop posting.... maybe slow down a little... but that ruins the fun.

Hehe, what should I say then?
Total Posts: 693 (3.18 posts per day) :D
InterServ-JB 07-05-2002, 11:30 PM Maybe we can find a hack that will limit post times. Say one post every 10 minutes for all users?

That hack is built in to vBulletin -- and it's in use right now! Except, instead of 10 minutes, it's 15 seconds :stickout
(No, I'm not such a nerd that I've been able to post twice in 15 seconds, I once accidentally hit "Submit Reply" twice and got the message ;))
SoftWareRevue 07-06-2002, 12:23 AM Still too many members for that.
Maybe we could put a limit on how many can be here at any one time.
Say. . . . . . . twenty?
InterServ-JB 07-06-2002, 12:24 AM That might work. Good thinking SoftWareRevue!
SoftWareRevue 07-06-2002, 12:24 AM Jay?????
See????
There ain't even enough room so we can post at different times. :bawling:
FDrive 07-06-2002, 12:28 AM LOL! Case in point :emlaugh:
InterServ-JB 07-06-2002, 12:29 AM HAHAHAHAHA
SoftWareRevue 07-06-2002, 12:30 AM All right. This is gettin a little out of hand.
Here I was, talkin ta one Jay about postin at the same time as me; and a 'different' Jay posts at the same time that I was postin about the 'first' Jay.
Somebody's gotta go.
:cartman: Screw you guys; I'm goin home. :stan:
:D
No. Really. I am going home.
Well, at least, leaving the forum.
This is just too much.
I'm afraid to hit "Submit"
I know when I do, someone else is going to at the same time.
Okay.
I'll do it.
Bye.
:D
InterServ-JB 07-06-2002, 12:32 AM Jay, we scared him! :D
markblair 07-06-2002, 12:36 AM Just had to join in since I haven't posted in probably a couple of hours. I tried to slow down SWR, I really, really did. Don't believe me, see if I care. :eek3:
Fremont Servers 07-06-2002, 12:49 AM More people join WHT = more posts
itsdestiney* 07-06-2002, 09:53 AM you have to post that is what the board is for , lmao an i enjoy posting dont you ?
edude 07-07-2002, 08:54 AM SWR, its just that you're getting too old :stickout And you can't keep up :stickout
XTStrike 07-07-2002, 09:00 AM I suggest all that are unable to keep up with the posts employ a team of dediacted "post readers" or form a team of about 5 people (WHT Members) and agree to read a certain section each, that way you can all start a conference call once a day over the internet and talk about your "dedicated area".
I hope this helps resolve your problem. :)
SoftWareRevue 07-07-2002, 10:26 AM Finally! A workable solution. :)
Thanks xtstrike!
I'll be looking to build that team soon.
But, in the meantime . . . . . . . STOP posting!!
:D
