View Full Version : Please STOP Posting!

SoftWareRevue

Once upon a time, I was able to read every post in every thread.
However hard I try; I just can't seem to do it any more.
By the time I finish reading one post, there are twelve more that have been written. :(

So, please, I beg of you; Stop it!

[Edited]

Because I was so upset in writing, that I had forgotten how to spell. :(

Are you sure you don't want to read any more posts?

Therein lies the problem.

I want to read every post.

But, there are just too many of them. :bawling:

Like when I go for icecream and I can't have every flavor, because there are just too many.

you really can't expect all of us to stop posting.... maybe slow down a little... but that ruins the fun.

Maybe we can find a hack that will limit post times. Say one post every 10 minutes for all users?

That hack is built in to vBulletin -- and it's in use right now! Except, instead of 10 minutes, it's 15 seconds :stickout

(No, I'm not such a nerd that I've been able to post twice in 15 seconds, I once accidentally hit "Submit Reply" twice and got the message ;))

Still too many members for that.
Maybe we could put a limit on how many can be here at any one time.

Say. . . . . . . twenty?

That might work. Good thinking SoftWareRevue!

:D

No. Really. I am going home.

Well, at least, leaving the forum.

This is just too much.

I'm afraid to hit "Submit"

I know when I do, someone else is going to at the same time.

Okay.

I'll do it.

Bye.

Just had to join in since I haven't posted in probably a couple of hours. I tried to slow down SWR, I really, really did. Don't believe me, see if I care. :eek3:

SWR, its just that you're getting too old :stickout And you can't keep up :stickout

I suggest all that are unable to keep up with the posts employ a team of dediacted "post readers" or form a team of about 5 people (WHT Members) and agree to read a certain section each, that way you can all start a conference call once a day over the internet and talk about your "dedicated area".

I hope this helps resolve your problem. :)

Finally! A workable solution. :)
Thanks xtstrike!

I'll be looking to build that team soon.

But, in the meantime . . . . . . . STOP posting!!
