FHDave 03-13-2007, 09:02 AM It depends on what HSphere version you are installing. If you plan to add more servers to your HSphere cluster later, do not install HSphere SSE. Check out this HSphere SSE vs HSphere comparison (http://www.psoft.net/promo/single_server.html#comparison) page. Hope that helps. Sohan 03-13-2007, 09:06 AM I've got the full version. If I install Hsphere on a server now, then add servers under it. Then later I decide to have Hsphere control panel on it's own server, would that be possible easily? FHDave 03-13-2007, 09:12 AM HSphere is designed so services can be migrated from one server to another. So yes, it will be possible. Many have done the CP migration, including us. Easily? That's relative :) You can also request PSOFT assistance and play the small fee. Sohan 03-13-2007, 09:17 AM Ok, cool. Thanks Dave. Sohan 03-13-2007, 09:30 AM i'm getting alot of 404s on their site. Any one else? stevewest15 03-13-2007, 12:02 PM Hi Sohan, Psoft site is undergoing some technical issues. Hopefully it will be back online soon... SW Chris_M 03-13-2007, 12:07 PM It depends on what HSphere version you are installing. If you plan to add more servers to your HSphere cluster later, do not install HSphere SSE. Even if you had SSE, you can easily upgrade to the full version by purchasing the # of regular licenses that would cover your accounts. You could then break the services out onto other servers without any issue. SeriousServers 03-14-2007, 05:47 AM H-Sphere's site ( psoft.net ) has great FAQ's, and they cover this very question, so I would go read up there.. maybe read the whole FAQ and Support PDF, that way you will not be hit with any little surprises along the way ... Always better to know the whole picture. Also Igor over at Psoft is a nice guy, im sure if you ask him for some help he, or someone in his staff can help you out. Sohan 03-14-2007, 11:52 AM I've got 25 licences, which I don't need anymore. Can i sell them or something? SeriousServers 03-14-2007, 11:55 AM I think that would be a question for H-sphere.... Their site is psoft.net Chris_M 03-14-2007, 12:27 PM I've got 25 licences, which I don't need anymore. Can i sell them or something? Yes, you can sell them. I am not sure if there is a transfer fee, but you (or the buyer) will probably need to pay for the support fee. Sohan 03-14-2007, 12:52 PM ok, well if any one wants them, let me know. I'll let them go v.v.cheap. SeriousServers 03-14-2007, 12:54 PM ok, well if any one wants them, let me know. I'll let them go v.v.cheap.
