Thanks Skie 07-05-2002, 01:51 PM the name seems familiar, i think it was used as a joke. all things considered, if its not here on WHT, its a hit or miss.. edude 07-05-2002, 02:34 PM whats leet? RackNine 07-05-2002, 02:39 PM whats leet? I wouldn't want to be his customer, server full of no good hackers or wannabe's  acidHL 07-05-2002, 02:53 PM leet is slang for elite, mostly used by online gamers that are a pencil short of well, a pencil. ChowSumDung 07-05-2002, 07:25 PM Actually, the correct spelling is L337 (elite) ;) FDrive 07-05-2002, 07:50 PM Originally posted by ChowSumDung Actually, the correct spelling is L337 (elite) ;) Wrong, wrong, wrong. I've consulted with my 13-year old nephew and the proper spelling is 1337. Get with it! ;) Chicken 07-05-2002, 07:58 PM First, you guys made me spit up my soda. Not very nice of you. Second... Originally posted by mbrain1 Are this offers for real? Yes, these offers are real. This host has magically found out something that no one else has. They have figured out to to offer an unlimted amount of something for a fixed price of $0.12 a day. Yes, that's right, amazing I know. Does this sound for real, or not? One of those real tough ones (and no, I won't give away the shocking answer!) Skie 07-05-2002, 08:47 PM I'd love to know how they're offering MS SQL and Access on Linux plans.. utadmin 07-05-2002, 09:24 PM leethosting has some good advertising space on a certain warez site They offer Unlimited Disk Space , Unlimited "bandwidth" ... looks like they know alot .. it should be Unlimited data-transfer I'll send a e-mail to fasthosts on monday :D fog 07-05-2002, 09:31 PM Another thing I can't figure out is this -- they have their table of features, and on several of the items, NONE of the plans have it. I can't really understand the motivation to get up and say "None of our plans have ColdFusion 5.0, domain registration, or password-protected directories!" It almost makes you wonder if the whole design is a rip, and they were too lazy to take out the services they didn't offer. But this is mere speculation; don't anyone think that I'm making an outright accusation. I'm not so sure this is a total scam, though... There's a LOT of information on their site; if I was creating a scam, I wouldn't spend weeks generating FAQs and stuff. The MS SQL stuff is either a really dumb mistake, or proof that they're running some sort of scam. (You can only get MS SQL on Windows or the *advanced* Linux plans, though...?!) I also find the *BLANK* Testimonials page to be rather amusing. iamdave 07-05-2002, 09:31 PM Originally posted by RackNine Proof that most hackers failed High school english. -Matt LOL RackFive 07-05-2002, 10:20 PM http://leethosting.com/plans.htm Unlimited Diskspace and Unlimited Bandwidth for 45/year too good for be true RRolfe 07-05-2002, 10:58 PM Originally posted by RackNine Proof that most hackers failed High school english. -Matt thats about the best answer to that question that i have ever heard. |
