You mention Multi domain in your signature. Does this package or any others you offer, allow for fully operation multi domains under one account? Thank you

Yes -- the Economy plan offers 10 Domain Pointers which are domains that will read from a subdirectory in your main account.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions.

Looks like a good package, FDrive. I have a couple of questions that I was going to e-mail you about, but thought others here may want to know the answers too.

Does your PHP build include the XML exPat extensions and XSLT Sablotron extensions needed to do XSL transformations via PHP?

Are the multi-hosted domains (domains linked to sub-domains) fully transparent to the browser? I.E. Will the pages be served from www.seconddomain.com/whatever/ rather than www.primarydomain.com/seconddomain/

And are customers able to add POP3 e-mail accounts and FTP accounts to those multi-domains?

Do you have an 800 number (or a phone number at all) for support?

Do you maintain your own server bank or are you a reseller for another service?

Thanks for your time to answer these questions.

Hi Jough,

You can see our full PHP setup here (http://server1.frontdns.com/phpinfo/).

Yes, the multi-hosted domains are fully transparent to the browser. In technical terms, they are fully qualified domain names and simply use a subdirectory from your main account as the Apache DocumentRoot.

Email sent to the multi-hosted domains will forward to your main email account.

Separate FTP accounts can be created from the Control Panel to only access the multi-hosted domain's root folder.

We do not offer phone support as it is very time-consuming to have customers ready their domains, passwords, etc, to us over the phone. However, we do have an emergency email address that will automatically give us a phone call in case of a down server, etc.

We maintain our own servers, we are not resellers.

Please feel free to either post here or contact me directy at jay@frontdrive.com if you have any other questions.

Warm regards,

jough

Well, it looks like a great deal to me. However, I cannot use your service because you don't have the XSLT extensions (or several other PHP extensions) installed - they are open source and free to install - I know half a dozen customers that would use your service if you had XSLT and Sablotron installed.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Best to you.
