I'm looking for someone to manage my windows 2003 server. Will need to handle any problems that may arrise, help setting up new servers, move to a new hosting company (if need be), operating system hardening, etc.

I'm currently running a dedicated server at theplanet, but am thinking about going elsewhere. Need someone or a company who is reliable and has excellent windows 2003 skills. Any recommendations?

freeworldgroup? are you any relation to that games site with the free flash...long shot lol

You can either look for a managed dedicated server, or use a server man company.

Did you subscribe to their 'lite' or 'full' service? Let us know what they are like at the end of the month.

Let me know how it works out for you. I'm new here but I'm a 2003 guru and would be up to the task.

so far very slow... so will see. I'm actually now looking at handynetworks - they seem to have great management in place.

hey, I tried to message you, but it doesn't look like you can accept private pms. You can contact me directly by going to my website and sending an email using the contact form (bottom of any page) - freeworldgroup.com

I'm still waiting on a refund from serversupportguys - they stopped answering any emails as soon as I told them I no longer wanted to use them anymore.

Have other people had the same problem getting refunds from these guys? I paid with paypal, so I'll go through their dispute process, as these guys did nothing for me and had me waiting a week before I decided to find someone else (handynetworks). Handynetworks were quick, efficient, identified all problems with my server, and are looking after everything for me now for less than serversupportguys.

Lesson learnt - never pay for a service before it is done - handynetworks actually insisted on me waiting until I was satisfied with what they did before billing me.
