I am looking for a script to run a blog aggregator site. A site that lists feeds from various blogs in one place. Not a script to host blogs.

Something simular to www.bloggingtories.ca or www.progressivebloggers.ca

I have been testing an aggregator script called ZebraFeeds, but it doesn't do 2 things I want. It doesn't sort the feeds by date or newest, and there is no way to list all feeds from all categories.

I want something that has categories, can sort by date, can show all from all categories and optional is the ability to vote on blogs/posts.

If anyone knows of a script, please help! I have looked around, but can't find anything, I know there must be something, there are many of these "blog community" sites.

Did you find anything better? I'm also looking for something similar. What other scripts did you try?

I would create a script that does database inserts and also stores some dates...or change the existing one and make it store dates.

zFeeder: http://zvonnews.sourceforge.net/ was the best i could find on hotscripts.com which comes close. Else you'll have to post on the offers and requests board like horizon said, and then i'm sure someone will be up for making a custom script for you :)

I ended up using Pligg with its RSS import function with some mods. www.bloggingcanadians.ca
