Hello,
A year ago I have ordered two domains - one .org and one .com. As I heard that Godaddy was possibly the best ISP out there, I decided to go with them.
So I bought these domains - I also added Private registration service for these too. The total spent was $11 IIRC - there was some kind of offer or whatever.

I would like to renew, but I don't seem to understand why does the private service registration renewal adds on?! I thought it was only once-off thing for the domain, but it does not look like that.
So here, I would be paying $18 for both domains to be renewed, but magically - I get extra private registrations added on - what's the deal? I can't remove them!!
What should I do?
I don't want to spend this much on an $18 or really - lower deal.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!

try contacting their support asking why

maybe its not allowed to remove it for some special deal you signed for?

Sounds about right. $9.25 renewal, $6.99 privacy x 2 domains = $32.48. Look closely at you billing. You probably paid $8.95 for the privacy. That's not surprising since Godaddy are constantly changing that price.

But I don't want privacy anymore, how do I go about that?:|

I reckon there should be an options in their control panel to cancel "additional services"

Contact Godaddy support and tell them You dont want to have it any more.
I guess they will then remove it or tell You how You can cancel it.

If not You could also transfer Your domain to a different registrar.

Sammy :)
