Paysystems has added a very nice feature to their control panel that now separates expired accounts. I would suggest anyone using their system to log in and check this list to look for accounts that may have expired and are not being currently billed.

This won't affect too many people who have started using them since they expanding the billing period option from 12 to 36 months, but for us older users it might come as a bit of a shock - especially if you have a number of accounts through their system.

I've just looked into with the new page up in the control panel. The results were a little disturbing to say the least. Unknown to us 14 transactions have expired with a total monthly amount of $228.30. Expiration dates range from January this year to the present.

Before this addition accounts were still placed in the recurring billing area so total monthly charges would still go up as accounts sign up - hence us not noticing anything amiss till now.

The solution I've been informed is to send the list of order ID's to support and they'll reinsert them into the database.

I should note I don't blame paysystems for this oversight on our part, and the addition of this feature is welcomed (hell, it's just saved us over $200 a month). I'm just posting to let everyone know it's worth taking a look just in case you find yourself in the same boat as us.

Note to akashik.net customers:
If you're concerned about this let us know. You're our first priority after all. ;)

Yes, I just noticed that too. :D

All my clients are setup on a 36mth term for recurring transactions, so it'll be a while before they come off the system. :)

They're releasing a new control panel soon too and I hope that they include a link like "Client notes" where we can make notes about each client etc. I've been asking for that feature for ages now. Here's an extract of what's coming with the new control panel -
A new version of the Merchant Control Center is right around the corner. Not only is it stronger, better, faster and more flexible but we have incorporated many of your suggestions including multi-lingual payment pages, true multi-currency processing, integrated affiliate management and settlement, enhanced transaction management, extended export features, additional sale mediums, new recurring/free trial driver along with same day processing, extended recurring reporting and much more.
Looks good. :D

yeah but does it make a good cup of coffee :D

Have to admit, that panel has come a long way since we started using it way back when.
