Hello! I'm a newbie! Here's my question:-
I have a website that I want to protect with a members subscription. Can anyone tell me some (preferbly free) services that prompt for the logins using this dialogue box?

I would be most grateful if you could :)

No scripts needed, that's just directory security. So long as your host allows you to set passwords on directories, you can do this in seconds :)

Yeah, but the one I use at the moment opens up a new webpage which clashes horribly with the rest of the site no matter how hard I try to make the colours blend :( That's why I want one that brings up the dialogue box like the one in the picture. Lots of sites (including MyRealBox) use it. If you can give me any details of services (preferbly free) that bring up the dialogue box I would be most humbly grateful :)

I just told you :)
Your Control Panel should (most do) allow you to do what you need. If not, simply contact your host. It literally is a 5-second thing to do.
It isn't a script or anything, it's kind of like making a new directory. You don't use a script to make a new directory, you simply do it.

Sorry, I misread your post.
It's not the host that I use the login thing for. I use Freeservers to host the site and AuthPro to put the login passwords on. As I said before, it doesn't fit in with the rest of the site.
Could you please tell me some hosts (like before, preferble free) that allow this on directories? Thank you so much! :)

You need .htaccess based authentication. Read this: http://faq.clever.net/htaccess.htm
i don't think many free hosts will allow .htaccess, but i may be wrong

You can look on hostscripts for user management scripts.
