View Full Version : has anyone tried Enom hosting reseller?
LiquidQuest 03-02-2007, 12:29 AM i want to know whether their hosting services are as reliable as their domain services, which is great! i also can not find any indication on their server specs.
I appreciate anyone who has tried / still signed up with their service to shed some light on my request. :D
thanks
mripguru 03-02-2007, 12:37 AM I would think that they're private labeled to eNom via a seperate entity.
Edit: Maybe not, but their plans actually look reasonable. It may be worth getting an account for a month and testing it.
ServersAndDomains 03-03-2007, 02:55 PM Enom's hosting is reliable but their support is pathetically slow and their control panel is not very user friendly. We resell it, but half the customers that sign up for it cancel and move to one of our other hosting platforms because the system is too confusing for most newbies.
LiquidQuest 03-03-2007, 03:26 PM thats disappointing, a big company like Enom should afford to get itself a damn good control panel, or even have plesk/cpanel installed.
thanks Todd, but do you know where i can have a look at their control panel because i am unable to locate a link to a demo on their site.
atechstl 03-03-2007, 10:22 PM I use Enom just for the domain names. I have AWBS which has an API setup with Enom and everything works great.

Same. I've only used enom for domain names.. They advertise their webhosting quite a bit on their website, surprised I haven't seen more feedback..

Just sign up for their hosting and try it. If you don't like it, request a refund. They will refund it for the first few days.

01globalnet 03-04-2007, 09:13 PM Where is the info for Enom reseller hosting? Cannot find reseller prices on hosting..
PEAK-Bobby 03-04-2007, 09:36 PM Ok this might sound like a newbie question. But I have a domain reseller from eNom and I would like to host their domain control panel on our site! How do I go about doing that? Also we use ClientExec billing for our sales. I know it has an eNom registrar plugin that is all configured and tested. But I don't really know how to access their user control panel, So if you guys can assist me on where to find their perl/php script that I can download and create a control panel on our site. I would be so happy!
mrzippy 03-10-2007, 06:52 AM Ask your parent reseller for help -- that is their job. :)
sharkman 03-10-2007, 01:02 PM Yeh unfortunatly I learned it the hard way, but cheap registrar di a better job. YOu really do need good support in this. Registrars do make mistakes and do get thing wrong and without support this could be immensly damaging for your company. I'm not in the business of trashing other companies, but I want you to keep that in mind, because it's truly makes a difference.
