Anyone been to www.easypsa.com lately? It seems like they're releasing a new billing package. Anyone have any ideas on this?

It looks like it to me. I registered and got this emailed back;

We supply everything, with complete step by step instructions, giving you a 100% automated system which takes your clients through a complete search, signup, setup and billing process.

Does anyone know when they are launching?

Complete automation for PSA? That sounds good, and probably would be of interest to alot of people.

We had originally planned to launch July 2. We are in the final stages of post production testing right now and plan to launch as soon as this is complete.

If you have already registered on the site we will contact you on the day we launch.

I hear from Plesk that easypsa has plans to automate domain registrations through easypsa as well, has anyone else heard this?

I would love it if you all would be able to give an approx. date of the release. I mean is it 1 week 2 or which. Lokking forward to the date.

I remember they were using ModernBill and Plesk and installing both for a heafty price tag.

Wonder if they used ModernBill as the base code for their billing system.

I will repeat what I said on the other forum in the interests of clearing up this matter once and for all;

When we first developed easyPSA we configured it to use ModernBill as it's billing system. We launched very soon after we'd developed the product, and we launched at a price which was outside the reach of the smaller hosting companies.

We listened to what people were saying about the product, then we pulled it off the market and re-wrote it from the ground up.

The new version does not use ModernBill in any way, shape or form. We have written our own billing software which is at the heart of easyPSA.

There are a heap of other improvements we made along the way. For obvious reasons these cannot be discussed in this forum.

We plan to launch very soon. All I can say at this stage is wait and see. We know you're going to love it.

It sounds great and I am sure you will sell alot of copies of your software. Can you say whether or not we will be able to use 2checkout with the billing portion of it. I hope because that would be great.

I have had an email from easypsa to say that they will launch today or tomorrow.

They say they support enom and 2checkout, but you can order a module to have other domain registrars and payment gateways included :cool:

This just keeps getting better and better :)

Looks promising, do you expect to have a demo online? Specifically I'd like to see the customer order process and demo the billing/administrative back-end.

Don't you think that is a "little" pricy?

Plesk automation is VERY VERY easy to implement, heck I could probably release a free version and let people go crazy contributing to this. So far we have gotten it to work with ModernBill, Plesk automation, and... well it isn't hard at all, and I don't think that is worth $300 bucks, just go get modernbill ($120 bucks).

I know Shiekron was going to release the script to ModernBill on automation on Plesk/Ensim/CPanel as we were able to intergrate it all using Python. But as far as I could remember he feared competition.

Ok, let me know when you release it for free, coz I would really like to get it for free :D. When do you think you could get it done by?

it would be great if you guys could release something like that. i'm sure there are people out there who would like to see the intergration of plesk with popular billing software...at a cheaper price....(especially me ;) :D )

No, we think that a product offering automation for hosting setups, domain registrations and billing for $299 is actually very affordable.

Yes, Plesk Automation is not too hard to get running. Combine it with a billing system, cater for multiple versions of PSA and multiple domain registrars and payment gateways and it gets a whole lot more complex.

At the end of the day, people will make up their own minds. We know that the marketplace is demanding a product like this. We have delivered. Initial sales have been overwhelming, and we expect it to continue.

what about revecom (paysystem) ?

Effectively every major payment processor is supported through the purchase of an addon module.

Our initial release allows for connection to 2checkout and enom. If you wish to use Revecom we can custom build a module to allow this for a one time fee of $49.00.

At this stage we have removed easyPSA Hosted as an option. This will be re-introduced in the next month or two.

Finally a signup script that works great with Plesk. I love to be able to go on Vacation and not have to worry if I need to manually add a client to Plesk. Once payment is approved the client is automatically added to Plesk. easyPSA tech support has been excellent. I had a few problems getting the script to install and their Tech Support helped me get it all working. I recommend trying out the demo on their site.

Yep, a very nice piece of work. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for it. It needs more options (and less in some cases) but it is certainly one to watch.
