Hi, Just wondering what the best free/OS client billing system is written in php. I have recently bought a reseller account at hostzio.com and would like a program that is free, straightforward, and easy to use for non-technical clients.

Can you tell us what softwares you have found so that it will help others as well?

Well, I've installed citrusdb, phpcoin, and auto host manager so far, but none of them have been to my liking.

How many other free services actually interact with WHM besides AHM? I'd like that functionality. Basically, all I want is a basic client account creation/billing system, and a simple ticket system.

Try Solid State (http://www.solid-state.org), too. But I recommend you buy a professional billing software.

Yeah, I think I may just go with clientexec at some point in the future... Sean at HostZio offered me a license for $70 which I suppose is worth it for looking professional.

Are there any free solutions that have a similar feature set as clientexec? It seems like free billing software is just as advanced, if not more, than commercial software, but they are lacking the usability/client simplicity... ideas?

PHPcoin does interact with WHM. It also supports API. It is really not a bad free billing software. You need to really spend some quality time with it to learn its functions and how it operates. But for free you cannot beat it.

Out of the box I just couldn't see my clients being able to navigate this program. Maybe if I spent a good amount of time customizing the interface.

PHPCoin is definitely one of my all time favorites, having used it personally way back in the beginning, it was a rather nice system and I enjoyed our time with it :)
