just found this website, looks like a lifesaver.

anyways im on cr right now, and their service is as expected horrible. just found out my raq4i is a 300mhz also.

im looking for another host, hopefully much faster than cr.
i need >50gb transfer a month, burstable and a 400+mhz server with at least 128mb ram. My budget is $300 or less. I need a reliable server that won't go down and won't be as slow as molassess. Also would like a nice control panel but im good with linux, freebsd or sun, if need be.

anyone have recommendations? I wasnt sure as to which forum to post this into, not to upset any rules. hope im not breaking one now.

i also don't really want a long term contract but i'm extremely strapped for cash and if this will eliminate a huge setup fee so be it.

any deals for me?

If you could give me a little more information about your bandwitdth? I noticed on a traceroute that http://www.pwebtech.com goes through cw.net, are there any problems related to this line as with CR?

Also will PHP + MySQL be installed on the server or will that need to be installed manually?

Your traceroute just went over one link, using a lookingglass traceroute, you will see multiple differnet connections, including AOL, exodus, Frontier, digex, uunet, PSINet, and others.

PHP, mySQL, will be installed by default, including mail services, apache w/SSL

We have over 15 diverse connections, and 2 OC3 lines, one to MAE-EAST.
