Here are some pics that I've taken of cases. I highly recommend the ATX case as it can do P4's and has a 300W PS. If you are interested in them go to:

http://www.atxcase.com

http://store.compute-aid.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=102&type=store

CAI-1U is the one you'd want.

Before you ask, we sell them, but you can get them cheaper from the vendor at atxcase.com or look on ebay.

My Votes go to this: http://www.gigabytenetworking.com/template.asp?content=SR125.asp&subset=SR125_main.htm

and this: http://www.appro.com/1124.html

For 2U, this looks great too: http://www.gigabytenetworking.com/template.asp?content=SR222.asp&subset=SR222_main.htm

Pretty cool cases, right? :)

Me too, but you can't buy just the cases, unless I can finding someone willing to buy the the innards minus the case at retail price - $200 :D

This one will be sitting on my desk for a little while before sending it away so I want it to look as nice as possible. I just want something clean and well done without any purple plastic handles and with everything nicely lined up (no floppy out of alignment with the rest, etc) and nice air inlet grills, etc.

The Gigabyte cases look really nice - thanks very much for the link! But can you buy just the cases separate?

BTW, do you need a floppy drive in a 1U Redhat 7.3 server?

OK last post - sorry for the rapid fire responses.

Like the gigabyte cases, I really also like the appro.com cases - but where can I buy just the 1U appro case without the rest? I love that case, but would rather build my own for the experience. The cases I really like seem to only come with fully systems and I can't find the source for those appro cases themselves :(

You will buy a barebone server consisting of m/b, FD/CD, and the case. You will need to buy the rest (HD, CPU, mem, etc). Yes, you can buy gigabyte case; this is one: http://www.novapcs.com/cgi-bin/novapcs2.cgi?sessionkey=x12835835931954753724160154248&catid=109
(though they don't sell the complete products).

Beware, all these cases can be quite expensive :)

I have some of the gigabyte cases. I don't think you can buy just the cases, I think you get the case and MB combo. The combo's aren't cheap.
