Lets say in a hypothetical situation where I have only ONE server for shared hosting.

What would I choose as my control panel, PLESK or cPanel?

If you think any other control panel that would suffice, then please include that as well :).

Please vote, thanks.

So I'm assuming you'll be using a Linux machine (cPanel is only available for Linux). cPanel and Plesk are both very good, and have both been around for quite awhile You can also try Direct Admin, ServerCP and lpanel.

I personally use cPanel.... it's what I've used for many years.

Rob.

I would use:

cPanel - Linux
Hosting Controller - Windows

I've used both for years, both are good but I would go with Plesk because they use qmail which is a lot easier to use and more powerful then the crappy mail server on cpanel.
