Please name one? Exclude Notepad. Is there a good PHP Editor out there as Dreamweaver to HTML? Thanks.

vi.

How could you not just love an editor that can solve a maze?

Seriously, I've been using vi for the last 10 years and just can't seem to find anything that really replaces it in my heart. The only time I don't use vi is when I'm working in MS Visual Studio, obviously not working with PHP in that case.

Primalscript (soon to be named Primalcode with .NET support) from Sapien.

Supports a dozen or so languages including PHP, includes autocomplete for keywords, etc. I'm sure there's others but once you get used to one, you tend to stick with it.

I heard they have stopped HomeSite further :( now the product is called DreamWeaver MX :o But seems to have combined the DreamWeaver and HomeSite technologies into this MX

Well HomeSite 5 was released only a month or two back, it was released as Macromedia HomeSite 5. So I can't seem them having killed it already. I for one would never pay 3 times as much for Dreamweaver MX just to get the HomeSite functionality - I'd rather use Notepad.

I use Dreamweaver to edit PHP and HTML Source, Dreamweaver MX, has some neat features, it parses out some of the PHP in the design mode. Neat stuff.
