Hello,
I found several topic about this, but my problem is different. I'm from Croatia (Europe) and I have advisory education site. For US stock traders (www.ivicacharts.com ). I like to start to charge my service but payment is big problem for me. Since most customers like directly credit card payment I was try to find good (not risky) firm. But 2 checkout, Paypal, authorize.net etc all refuse me. Some as 2checkout told me that is high-risk business (??), and other like Paypal still not accessible in Croatia. Outside is many solutions, but I'm not happy with high risk off shore firms. Can someone help me with any other suggestion, any other firm etc. I like to have directly payment, but if that can't work I will took 3rd part payment but that is in second plan for now.
Thank you all

Have you tried CCBill and other such services which deal in high-risk sectors? I agree no American bank is going to look at that site and think anything other than "scam."

I think I was read about CCBill on this forum as unsafe service. Now I'm sure. On every firm on net can be good and bad words, and that is ok. I just don't find some firm who will not send me my money. Thank you for advcie..I will check again

CCBill is for adult bases membership (emphasis on memberships) - they have their niche and that's is all they want (and rightfully so). They are not unsafe - just not for most members on this forum.
Authorize.net is only an electronic payment gateway - so even getting an account with them you still have no way to accept credit cards on your website.
CCNow and CCAvenue might be one choice. Once of them cannot accept MasterCard so read the terms fully. (I just cannot remember which one right now.)
You might even check with your local bank to see if they offer / support anything as well.

That's pretty much what he's selling--you give him $80/mo and he lets you read his blog full of stock tips.

Ah sorry I must have missed what he was selling in his post. I still did not read where he was selling memberships it but such is life.

Why not build a vBulletin forum, and charge for membership, just like WHT premium forums. Paypal will have no problem with that...

But he would still have the problem with finding the gateway, processor or IPSP. I don't think it's the software that is the problem

Honestly, when I setup my first merchant account I was very nearly declined simply because I had a string of Russian text on my front page. It was a purely decorative design element, and everything else on the site was in English, but that one little blurb red flagged me. This guy may very well be an investment genius, but I can't imagine any American citizen let alone bank employee looking at this site and thinking anything good could possibly come from trusting him. Sure it's discriminatory and possibly unfair, but anyone who was really that good at picking stocks would probably have enough money to hire a professional designer that didn't use MS Paint to create all of his or her graphics. Even those doofuses who sell internet poker playing tips out of their parents' basement manage to put on a professional facade.
