We have our phone service with angel.com and had it for a few months now and very happy with it.

Basically its a type of forwarding service which makes any company look very professional for only $10 a month

I am in need of a lady's voice to do recordings, basically I send you want we want, and you record them in wav format

IE:

"Welcome to Web Hosting Network"
"Your now being transferred to"
"Customer Service"
"Technical Support"

etc....etc..etc...

If your interested, please email me @ gary@www-hosting.net on what you would charge

Thanks Jason, unfortantly thats about what we got now, its pretty natural at the same time, it still sounds like a robots voice :(

If you call us, our system cant even say WWW Hosting Net, it will say "dubba dubba...." lol or WWW-Hosting Network will say "World Wide Web Hosting Network" so.....hehe

Their is an EXCELLENT program out there. With a rather unusual theme, sorry for the vulgar language, but the program is called "Sh*t Talker". It is used for prank calls, however I have found it extremely usefull in creating voices. There are about 100 different voice paterns on there, ranging from a regular women, to a robot. Their tons of different tones per character (women, man, machine). You can also save the file as .wav or .mp3

HTH

For all who wanted Sh*t talker, here is a site to download it from...

You can also custom design voices by changing the pitch, speed, and tone.

Gary, CrapTalker works fine on Windows 2000, and I'm pretty sure it works on Windows 98. Anyhow, I don't think it will be much help to you, because you don't want the "robotic" voice, and although CrapTalker has a lot of customizable features, you cannot make it sound human.

Go to tools > folder options > view > show hidden files and folders.

Copy all the dll's in the directories, and paste them in your windows > system32 folder... If it asks to overwrite any files, click no.

Thats what I did and it worked with those dll's in the system32 folder.

They all sound like robots to me.

Just hire someone to do custom recordings for you. ;)

But I'd recommend the approach I used: I met this woman at a bar, friend of a friend. She had the best voice (among other traits that brought me to talk to her in the first place), so I asked her if she'd record the voice mail messages for my company... so you could secretly audition everyone you meet, and then ask the one with the best voice. It's a great way to meet people, why bother looking for someone online? :)
