Hello Everyone,
Over the course of the past 2 days, I have been speaking with Tim, Owner of Paradise-Designs about retrieving data from 2 of my websites on one
of his servers. Since talking with him, it seems that I am getting no where fast, I have yet to receive even the smallest amount of either website
backups and I need them as soon as possible.
The two domains that I am needing all data from are vbulletingraphics.com and vbulletintemplates.com. vBGFX sells graphics mainly targeted at the
vBulletin audience, but nonetheless, I am losing money from not having the website up and running (not to mention current customers are not so happy that they can not access anything, ie: their purchased files).
vBT is a community that I run targeted at vbulletin's templates, also known as a template modification resource. Before both websites went down,
vBT had a strong growing member base of 220+ members in only 3-4 days (currently I am losing members from this incident as well).
I know that Tim has and still is having problems with CPanel, so I have no way to access these files as I do not have root access to the server or
anything. He claims the server to be down and that it has been shut off from the switch, although I have not proof of that at this time. The server in which the files/websites are being hosted on are mustang.nocservers.net. The data/content and MySQL backups are very important and, if not retrieved, could very well place and end to both websites (in the end, costing me a good deal).
Tim and I had arranged so that both sites would be sponsored by PD (Paradise-Designs.net), but I see no reason why I should not be able to retreive my data when needed. The current server they are on has been down for 4 days, going on 5 days withouth CPanel and without service.
I have run out of ideas on what to do and am seeking help from anyone here. I need those backups and soon, I do not want to close either of the sites down as they are one reason I am able to pay my bills.
I would appreciate your comments and feedback on this issue, even the smallest bit of advice helps.
Regards,
Jonathan T.
