There are sooooo many options out there. What do you use to track traffic, ad campaigns etc. for YOUR hosting site?

We keep drifting between Google Analytics and Mint. Mint is much more pretty but analytics is far more powerful. Right now we are just on Mint because we have no major ad campaigns or anything fancy going on. Its just too pretty to resist(www.haveamint.com)

Google Analytics and Web Log Explorer Log Analyzer mainly. I like Web Log Explorer Log Analyzer because it is ran locally. SmarterStats is uses as well from time to time, but the ability to run reports locally is good

What exactly makes analytics more powerful? Beside's being a LONG way from being accurate, there is very little you can do with analytics

haveamint looks interesting. Urchin looks good too. I've never tried google analytics, but I'll check it out. Any more like mint or urchin?

Google Analytics rules, but tends to be slow sometimes. AWstats all the way!

I use google analytics and awstats. I love the site overlay feature on analytics.

I don't understand why none of the popular packages record full referrer information. Even AWStats lops off the query strings.

Google Analytics site overlay feature is very nice. Using ZaZa to track visitors in real time is a handy feature too, but not for everyone. Regular Webalizer/AWStats works too

I have been looking for something like this for the past 2 years. Then again, I havent put much time into looking for it. This thread just caught my eye by chance and thank god it did.

I am an awstats kind of guy. Since I do use Google adwords to help promote my website, I check that daily as well.

Here's another vote for Awstats. While I like Analytics "pretty-ness" it just doesn't seem all that accurate. When you compare Awstats with Analytics the difference in statistics is shocking!

AWStats is the best IMO.
Webalizer is also okay.

I was just looking at haveamint.com - Doesn't look too bad, you should look into it.
Looks like a very straight-foward setup/install too. Might be a pain in the ### to add a head tag to every page.. hopefully you have a php include script in your site.

Does anyone know of something similar to Web Log Explorer Log Analyzer that runs on a Mac?

Isn't google analytics the same as urchin ? Its a bit confusing as google did buy urchin to make google analytics...
