How do you guys go about selling domains to your customers.

Ive looked at Modernbill and WHMCS, which seem to be the most popular billing packages. But neither of these alow the customer to manage their domain names through the panel.

Dont you get a lot of compaints by customers that they cant change their DNS etc. because I know if I bought a domain name, i'd wan't to be able to change the domain details.

Most larger domain suppliers have systems in place that allow you to sell domains and make a profit on the difference between your BUY price and your SELLING price. I am only familiar with enom.com, and would recommend you take a look at them. Domain names you sell through enom can be managed by the buyers, as they'll have their own login information. It's all automatic, and you can use your commissions to either buy domain names yourself through your account, or request a commission cheque.

Rob.

AWBS allows to manage domains. But it's very complex software for me and most times many bugs occur.

I'm not sure where you read that, but I know for a fact that ModernBill DOES allow clients to order, manage and configure their domains.

Oh good, its just that when I checked their demo, theres nothing there to allow the user to manage their domains, they only can order them.

Not sure what made you think your clients can't manage their domains through WHMCS but it's incorrect. From the WHMCS Client Area, your clients are able to change their domains nameservers, the locking status and the WHOIS contact information.

Oh good, its just that theres nothing on the WHMCS site that says you can. Id love to go with WHMCS it looks better than Modernbill, the only reason I dont go with it is that its not integrated with Kayaco Helpdesk.

I dont think the Registry Rocket can be integrated with my site.
