Panama only charges tax on profits made from your Panamanian customers so for US or UK businesses its a free ride (as long as you can pay your suppliers from a bank on Panama to avoid the money coming under your own countries tax jurisdiction) May not be related to this, but there is a demand for "offshore" hositng for all sorts of legal reasons too.
