Package = AMD Sempron 2600 B is an exception and thats the reason we have included bandwidth in it. Other packages donot have bw mention and carry 2000GB transfer. And yes that price IS insane for sure :)

These deals are good, but checking the Layredtech speedtest I am getting 80 KB/sec. Can you check if there is a known problem, or if this is really the performance we can expect? Right now I'm debating between a Layeredtech or Softlayer server with you, I would preffer the cost advantage Layeredtech has, but 80KB/sec isn't going to work for me.

May I know where are you from? There were reports that LT were having network issue to Europe (I can't be too certain of that) but if you are in the EU, high chances that the rumor was true.

I am in middle of nowhere Northern Idaho. I am getting 700 KB speeds from Softlayer.com, but 80 from the second data center at Layeredtech and 280 KB from first.

You offer access to the Softlayer customer portal, but then block all the pages on the portal that offer functionality. Why is that?

For those who don't know, Server4Sale has announced a price increase. That means that if you get a server today, in April you will have to pay $25 more for the same server you have or leave for another host. For instance, if you get the Dual AMD Opteron 246 at $155/month today, in about a month Server4Sale will ask you to pay $180/month for that same server. The price increase is for both new and existing customers, so you need to know that if you get a server with them today, in April you will be asked to pay $25 more for the same thing.

So guys keep in mind that unless Server4Sale says here that these servers are not subject to the upcoming hike (very unlikely) you will be paying $25 more for the server you rent today. And I'm not theorizing, this happened to me, I got a server less than a month ago and today they are already asking me to pay more for it.

I wold like to know if you have some reseller program?

There is a unilateral increase with the servers of Server4Sale (from $15 to $25 monthly) starting April.

Are the listed servers here affected by the increase or will be fixed.

I got the email saying it was a $15 increase for LT hosted servers only.

MAN! I just ordered a server with these guys. Are you telling me that they are going to jack up the price on me? The server has not been deployed yet. They have already charged my card but I don't know what to do now. I was going to cancel if they can't do SATA for me anyways. This totally sucks. I could get a way better server for 25.00 more. If you are going to jack up the price 25.00 or if you can't do SATA please cancel my order and refund my money.

Tell me about it... Mine just got up and running this weekend, then I get this notice on Monday morning. I think it only applies to LT servers, based on the email that was sent out.

Does anyone confirm the price raise on new server order?
If new server will be exempted, I'll order new one and abandon old one. :)

BTW, I was happy with S4S until price raise e-mail. They improve service while increasing price but none of improvements will help me.

I think they're waiting till the 1st to respond... that way everyone has to have paid their next invoice.

I ordered a server from you with $65/mo 1.5month ago. And now you are going to change it to $80/mo. Your offer expires for me right after my order.

I paid extra $45 for the move, I spent days for the move, and now I'm going to pay $15/mo extra for the move.
