I'm assuming this is in the right forum - if not, feel free to move it to where ever it needs to be!

I've been looking around for some sort of "internet telephone" that isn't necessarily a VOIP but more of a "telephony" of some sort. This would allow me to make incoming and outbound telephone calls using my computer and a headset (no equipment other than a phone chord, headset, computer and internet connection).

Does anyone happen to know of such as solution? I haven't necessarily indulged into some huge searching for this! Thank you in advanced!

Edit: Other than Skype :D

Well in my experience there really isn't much better than Skype (delay times and quality speaking). Are you looking for a "free" option or don't you like Skype? :P

I second VoIP buster, or you can try Vonage Softphone.

Are any of the cool usb peripherals available for voipbuster? Also, it says free but I see a banner to but calls. Am I missing something? Can I call to the US for free?

This may or may not be concern for some of us, but I thought I point it out.
