My friend just told me he has too much space and bandwidth in his account and wanted to give me some for a little fun.
I think I will have 5GB space and 100GB bandwidth per month with a Linux server. Oh well, I have no idea what I am gonna do with it except move all of my sites to the reseller account. Oh my god! Can someone give me ideas to use them all?
What I'm thinking is I might open a chat forum for my relatives, downloadable mp3, some funny flashes, and of course...Well I can't think of anymore!
OHohoh! Can I be a reseller? ;)

Hi,
Essentially, you will first need to ask your friend if your account can be used to resell, if it can, then you will need to find out what sort of reseller control panel (if any) he can give you for your account. Then get yourself a domain to be set up as the primary account and, if you want to be professional about if, you will need at least 2 IP addresses to use for your nameservers. Once you have secured these 2 IPs, you will need to set up nameservers with your registrar (i.e. the company you set the primary domain up with) like this:
ns1.yourdomain.com (IP)
ns2.yourdomain.com (IP)
Now design yourself a web site, get some clients and rake that cash in!
Good luck, if you need any help just post back here!
(PS - I don't suppose your friend has any more free space and bandwidth does he? ;) )

IS the IP address equal to nameserver? My friend can give me one. Ouch! I still have no idea what I'm gonna do with the account. I want to be a reseller but maybe not so professional in someways. Oh well, I can make like dirt cheap price for the hosting plans.......haha. Let say $1/m to $5/m or just go for $10/y or $50/y for the hosting plans. How's that? ;)
I know I sound like not so professional but I can ask my friend to help me make that happen. (I'm going to buy some CD-RWs for him  )
