Servers in India are costly and come with very little bandwidth. I'm from India so I know that firsthand. You can find servers with decent bandwidth and reasonable pricing in Singapore.

He posted an offer yesterday in the following thread:

You may contact him with your requirement. I have never used his services but have seen him offer servers in Singapore based DC every now and then.

In India Netmagic Solutions (http://www.netmagicsolutions.com) is a reputed provider. They are used to host some of the most popular sites in India. They don't have prices mentioned on their site, you have to contact them for a quote.

Try sgwebhostingtalk there seem to be alot of cheap and good Singapore base server

I looked for a client who has a website which sell's to Asia and he wanted to have a safety copy at a server in Asia.

He is not interrested anymore anyone else was faster but if you know a good provider would you name him, if I found a new client.

Yes, I was wrong - it's not in Singapore but in Malaysia - "MyLoca datacenter in Cyber Jaya which is a facility built by Telekom Malaysia (TMnet)"

I do assume you are looking for a DC based dedicated server ?

Depending on what your client is looking for you should consider Hong Kong (f.e Hostfresh) or Singapore (f.e Boonchuan).

Japan will come at a price (3-4 times of US price) - which is down due to space that is so expensive. You easily pay 600$ for a Pentium machine in Tokyo.

I f.e. rent dedicated servers for some time now on a 100mbps line from a Soho. (incl. UPS, KVM etc.)
I found this the only affordable feasible solution for Japan. I havent heard any complains from my clients so far regarding downtime, speed, service etc.

If you want to compare f.e. the download speeds of locations like HonkKong, Japan, Singapore, US etc. you could use belows links. Make sure you also check their ping times where possible.
