View Full Version : Enom never bothers replying...
TrinityIce 02-17-2007, 08:27 AM I have a problem currently with a reseller of Enom and Enom themselves. You see, Enom never replied me concerning my request for my EPP code for a few domains that I have with one of their resellers. This reseller doesnt have the code displayed anywhere in my C/Panel....and you bet, they (the reseller) dont answer me either.
I want to transfer those domains to another cheaper reseller or registrar but how am I to do it without the EPP codes? Am I stuck there to renew the domains with that reseller? They are charging much higher than all the others.
Can I obtain an injunction from ICANN to compel Enom or the reseller to give me the EPP code? Is that possible? Has anyone had similar problems with their domains?
TrinityIce 02-17-2007, 09:40 AM Registerfly isnt the only bad one around here. Enom sucks  honestly.
solidar 02-17-2007, 09:42 AM enom got bad since they get buy. try a smaller registrar company
tanfwc 02-17-2007, 10:10 AM Have you try calling them?
TrinityIce 02-17-2007, 10:17 AM No, I havent tried that. I think the reseller, doesnt have the EPP code or at least are not providing it...But Enom should know...they just dont bother
Patrick 02-17-2007, 11:09 AM This sounds like a problem with your reseller, not eNom...
While eNom can take a few days to reply, they normally (AFAIK) don't communicate with clients of their resellers. As for the EPP code, the reseller should have access to it under eNom's control panel.

You are not eNom's customer, but rather a customer of your reseller. You need to contact the reseller, not eNom.
TrinityIce 02-17-2007, 11:30 AM Ok, thanks...I'll make another effort to contact them. For your info, this reseller is a webhost and the owner used to be active around here (WHT) but seems he hasnt been around (logged in) for more than a year now.
I'll let you know the update in future. Thanks for all replies.

If you have absolutely no luck contacting the reseller, eNom will help. I suspect they are very busy right now helping all of the R-fly customers.
Your best bet is to call them on Monday or submit a ticket through their ticket system. They will reply.
albatroz 02-17-2007, 11:40 AM eNom also sucks. This company is too big to worry of small customers.

Thanks, I will submit a ticket. Problem is, the Enom website is quite confusing, I sent emails to support@enom.com but that didnt work...
Can someone post a specific link direct to their ticket system ? Thanks alot!!

problem is, if/when that reseller never answers (we also have such an account, made times ago). Then eNom does no help. You are completely lost.

go here https://www.enom.com/Login.asp?
login and click help, then post a support ticket by that system. 50% chance that they answer.
solidar 02-17-2007, 02:43 PM remember it will take sometimes 7-10 days to hear from them so patient is need
desbest 02-17-2007, 08:02 PM They also didn't reply to me and fail to answer how to install their faulty and buggy script. They make me go round in circles rather than say: "The preset api script is bad".

exact at that point I also give up, times ago, and decided not to use it.

You could just create Your own account at eNomcentral.com and "push" the domains into that account.
It's just a click and then Your domains are moved into Your own account.
From there You should be able to handle the transfer out by Yourselves.

enom is so big now they no care about client
Tea_J 02-18-2007, 11:10 AM ahh.. you guys too?
I have a few domains that's about to expire.. i've received enom's email about migrating to them.. and .. SURE.. however enom only emailed me for a select few domains. i have sent lots of emails to enom about my other domains which i'd like to gladly move from regfly and renew it on their system.. they have not replied yet.. NOT EVEN TO ATLEAST 1 of the many emails i've sent them.
I remember begging them for my auth codes too.. etc etc.. they have never replied..
This gives me the impression that enom is just like regfly when it comes to support..

i too have been having problems with their site.. it's so confusing.. and nope. logging in and clicking help does not seem to bring out any "ticket" system.. only way of contacting them for me now is phone (not an option) or email.. and...as the thread title says.. they cant seem to be bother to reply at all.

That is an interesting suggestion...never thought of it. Can we push the domains even without the EPP codes at our disposal?... as that is the problem preventing me from transferring to elsewhere cheaper. I'm sorry that many of you also have the same problems with Enom or one of their resellers.
This is why, dont ever buy a domain from a reseller/host as you might face problems like this...gosh.
tsj5j 02-20-2007, 12:52 AM You can only push domains internally within a registrar without EPP codes.
EG. From one reseller to another, or from reseller to Enom (main, non-reseller) (vice versa).
swede 02-20-2007, 01:01 AM Enom seems to have a really heavy support volume due to the Registerfly implosion. I got my ticket answered within 2-3 days.

Sorry to correct you, but you are wrong.
I am a reseller and over the past monthI have requested EPP codes for several clients.
None of the clients get the EPP code.
Enom blames spam filters, which might be true, but when the client calls enom directly, the codes arrive in their mailbox during the phone conversation....BIG SURPRISE!
So don't blame the resellers here. They may be the culprit occasionaly, but the real problem is enom.
Sammy95 02-27-2007, 11:44 AM This is why, dont ever buy a domain from a reseller/host as you might face problems like this...gosh.
Wrong. These problems started after RF became an ICANN Accredited Register.
When RF was an reseller under eNom things were good at RF.
The RegFly problems are caused because the owners of the company fights about who shall own it,
and fires each other and "everyone else" working there..
This can happen in any company. And if RegFly had been an 100% eNom reseller
we could easily have moved our domains to eNom without all these problems.
However they were not, and this cause a lot of problems.
Sammy :)
