Hi,

I am looking for a CMS for a client, that must have the following features. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

1) Easy to use (client is IT illiterate so joomla etc is out)
2) easily create categories / sub categories and reorder them in the navigation
3) client login/registration so registered users can see categories that non registered users cannot
4) mailing list (users can select what categories to receive mail about)
5) template based
6) can be free or paid license but must be open source
7) did I mention easy to use ?

Thanks

I think Mambo and Joomla fit that criteria

Hello, plustreme,

To fit your criteria, I would recommend you WordPress. It is exclusively easy to use even in the hands of an IT illiterate.:)

I also agree, for a simple-easy to use CMS go with WordPress.

MODx and CMSMadeSimple . Both are very simple and easy to pickup.
