In november i switched from hippohost.net to www.downtownhost.com
the day i moved my domain i didnt want users to see a blank site so i redirected them to my IP address at down TH.
Problem is when some still go my address (www.planet-zorg.co.uk) it still send some users to the old hosting account, which forces them to my IP address. which i do not want
can someone suggest some help please, im going mad

Hello,
First you need to check if the domain is correctly pointing to the IP address of the servers of your current host. If it is then you just need to remove the parking of the domain and check the .htaccess file of your domain if there is any redirect rule written within it.
If the domain is not currently pointing to correctly IP address then you need to check if the domain is having the proper name servers. if not y ou need to change the name servers of your domain to the nameservers of your currrent host. The changes done will take around 24-72 hours for propogation, since the updation of the same is done on a global database. Once the domain propogates correctly to the server then follow the steps given above.
Thank you.

nothing obvious wrong with your domain setup/nameservers - its *possible* this is simply your visitors isp who has cached the results - a common problme with cable companies that proxy and web cache everything

You may now transfer your domain name by pointing your nameservers to:
NameServers IP Address
NS28.DOWNTOWNHOST.COM 72.52.140.145
NS29.DOWNTOWNHOST.COM 72.52.140.146
this is what was sent in my welcome email from the hosting
is there any difference between that and the info on my domain? because i dont see any problems
