Iam working on a useful vide website (download and stream) and I want to know which extension (media player ,real player , flash ,.......) is the best for me space & bandwidth) and for the visitor.

Well, if you generally look at sites like YouTube and Google and so on, you'll notice the mostly stream it in flash now. Real format, I really have nothing good to say about, I find it annoying and don't even have a player installed for it.

From my personal experience I would say media player or flash.

Flash for sure...it works on pretty much every major operating system.

thanx 4 ur replies but what about (downloading) the video file !
should I upload the same file twice with two formats?
one for watching it online and another (media or real or ..) for downloading?

Just in case you need an encoder to encode movies to FLV (Flash Video) format , take a look at http://www.rivavx.com/ .

They got a free FLV encoder.
